Tom Campbell has had a lifelong career in broadcasting. Tom comes from a family with a deep level of commitment to public service to North Carolina. His family founded Campbell University as well as WNCT-TV, the first television station in eastern North Carolina.

For more than 24 years, Tom wrote and delivered daily radio editori­als for his family’s broadcast business. He then went on to become the Station Manager of WPTF-AM, as well as the Assistant Treasurer for the State of North Carolina.

Tom also created, executive produces, and moderates “NC SPIN,” a 30-minute television broadcast during which four panel­ists with a range of political philosophies engage in an unrehearsed discussion. Each week the panelists deal with issues that affect the people of North Carolina. The show gives Tom the opportunity to combine two of his passions, broadcasting and politics.
